Mr. Bates is an associate with Ivins, Phillips & Barker. He joined the firm in 2007 and is participating in the firm's group rotation program.
Mr. Bates received his J.D. from the University of Virginia in 2007, where he was a Senior Editor of the Virginia Tax Review. He received his B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Virginia in 2004.
