Mr. Zimmerman is an associate with Ivins, Phillips & Barker who joined the firm in 2004. His practice focuses on employee benefits, particularly in the area of qualified plans and executive deferred compensation plans. Mr. Zimmerman devotes considerable time to drafting and reviewing plan amendments and summary plan descriptions and to revising executive compensation arrangements in light of Code Section 409A.

Mr. Zimmerman received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 2003. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Brandeis University in 1999. Before joining the firm, Mr. Zimmerman served as a law clerk to the Honorable James Lawrence King, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
