Mr. Smith is a partner in the firm's Corporate Tax Group. A Certified Public Accountant, he is a specialist in tax accounting. In this capacity, he has guided many members of the Fortune 100 through the most difficult and complex accountancy issues.
Mr. Smith received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1981, magna cum laude, and his M.S.M from Florida International University in 1979. He was elected Phi Beta Kappa at Harvard University, where he graduated, cum laude, in 1973. Mr. Smith is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and American Bar Association.
