Ms. Place is an associate with Ivins, Phillips & Barker where she advises clients on a wide range of income, estate and gift tax matters, as well as employee benefits issues. She has drafted a variety of wills and trusts and regularly prepares financial powers of attorney, medical powers of attorney and living wills. Ms. Place also has experience with the formation and maintenance of not-for-profit organizations designed to carry out her clients charitable objectives. She has successfully obtained tax-exempt status for such organizations.

After volunteering with the United States Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, Ms. Place received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. She is currently enrolled in New York University School of Law's Executive LL.M. tax program.
