Ivins, Phillips & Barker partner Leslie Schneider was quoted in Tax Notes Today with regard to a recent IRS legal memorandum concerning a taxpayer's bonus compensation plan. The memorandum ruled that the taxpayer could not at year-end accrue a liability for bonuses to be paid in the following year.
