Robin Solomon Leads Panel at 2019 Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference

IPB partner Robin Solomon led a distinguished panel of in-house counsel in a discussion of meaningful ways to incorporate law department personnel into company business units on October 17 at the 2019 Women, Influence & Power in Law conference in Washington, DC. For the third year, IPB was a proud sponsor of WIPL, which brings together in-house, law firm, and government attorneys from around the US for three days of presentations and discussions of key issues facing women in the law today.

Robin's panel, entitled "Effective Strategies for Integrating Legal into Business Units," consisted of Buzzfeed GC Rhonda Powell, ASGN AGC Wendy Gerard, Capital Group SVP Kathleen Vanderziel, Omnicom Healthgroup GC Jennifer Schatzman, and PSEG AGC Susan Szafranski. Each panelist described how her attorneys function as strategic partners to the business unit, and the benefits and challenges associated with their approach.
