Jeff recently led the team advising on the U.S. tax aspects of the largest all-cash acquisition in history, Bayer's $63 billion purchase of Monsanto.
Jeff specializes in corporate tax planning and transactional matters. Known for his innovation and creative solutions to problems balanced carefully with conservative protection of clients' long-term interests, he has structured and negotiated mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other transactions valued in excess of one-hundred billion dollars. Jeff also has extensive experience handling audit and controversy matters and the research tax credit. He conducts frequent seminars in his areas of focus.
