IPB Attorneys Present on the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) at ABA Tax ConferencePDF
IPB attorney Harrison Richards presented for the Closely Held Businesses Committee of the American Bar Association Tax Section’s Spring Conference in Washington, DC. IPB partner Ben Grosz, who serves as Vice-Chair of the Tax Section’s Closely Held Businesses Committee and helped organize the program, moderated the panel. Danchai Mekadenaumporn, a Senior Technician Reviewer in Employment Tax Branch 1 of the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, and Christopher N. Moran, a Venable associate, joined Harrison on the panel.
The panelists discussed ERTC eligibility, the mechanics of the credit, and other factors that those seeking the credit should consider. A Q&A session following the presentation allowed audience members to learn more about applying and qualifying for the ERTC.
