Chambers and Partners has released its 2020 Chambers USA guide to top US lawyers and firms, recognizing IPB attorneys Les Schneider, Kevin O'Brien, Jodi Epstein, and Robin Solomon.

Les Schneider, co-head of the IPB Tax practice, (also ranked by the Chambers Global Guide) has been recognized as among the premier US tax attorneys since the inception of the Chambers guides. The editors note that  Les "is held in high regard for his vast knowledge of tax accounting." One of his clients commented that, "He is extremely knowledgeable and able to foresee issues and relate our facts to current developments in tax law. He provides comprehensive responses to issues in a very timely manner."

Kevin O'Brien, head of our Benefits & Compensation practice, has also been recognized by Chambers for many years. This year they remark that he is a "highly experienced lawyer, who is very helpful, insightful and very knowledgeable about employee benefits." A client notes that, "He has a really deep knowledge of the regulations and is very practical in his approach. He is also very accommodating and able to meet the client's needs and styles."

Chambers reports that our Benefits & Compensation partner Jodi Epstein "offers particular expertise advising on qualified benefit plans. Clients regard her as 'very knowledgeable, very customer service-focused, extremely hard-working and always very helpful.'"

Robin Solomon, also a partner in our Benefits & Compensation practice, is singled out for her "wide-ranging employee benefits practice, which includes advising on corporate transactions. A client comments: 'She's technically excellent. Her knowledge of ERISA is unsurpassed and she's responsive and attentive to client needs.'"

In addition to these individual accolades, Chambers USA also recognized IPB's Tax practice, praising the team as "very responsive" and "collaborative" and noting their experience representing "clients with knotty cross-border tax issues," as well as our Benefits & Compensation practice, noting that their sources say "It is an excellent team whose main strength is its expertise. Their client service is also outstanding." One client comments, "The team is phenomenal and stands out for its knowledge of the law as well as the wealth of information it has on the industry."

Our Estate Planning practice is also recognized by Chambers, in the latest (2019) edition of its High Net Worth Guide.

Congratulations to all!
